We recommend choosing the device that best suits your usage needs. Your choice should be based on the dimensions of the space the device will be placed in, as well as heating preferences, such as usage time, purpose (sudden vs. continuous warmth), frequency, method (supporting heater vs. main heater) and room size (single vs. multiple occupant).
İvigo convection heaters come in three models: Manual, Digital and Professional. Manual heaters are equipped with manual thermostats. These are easy to use, but do not offer the same precision as digital models when it comes to reaching and maintaining a set room temperature, which in turn results in higher power usage compared to digital heaters. Digital convection heaters can be set to open and close automatically, and are equipped with a key lock as well as an accurate thermostat that continuously monitors room temperature. Digital heaters also feature a display screen that shows room temperature and settings. Compared to continuous-operation heaters, Digital models use up to 30% less energy.
Professional heaters are the most advanced models in the convection heater range.
These have additional features to maximize comfort and energy efficiency. The device can be programmed with different temperature settings for different hours in weekdays and weekends. Professional heaters also come with a variety of user-friendly features such as motion sensor, energy usage monitor, freezing protection, open window detection, and smart start. Professional heaters can also be used as regular digital convection heaters.
The İvigo line includes a 2500W fan heater for glass-enclosed balconies or other areas where immediate warmth is desirable. The fan produces 50 dB of noise, and for that reason, is not recommended for bedrooms as it may cause discomfort, especially during nighttime. The fan heater comes in two models: Manual and Digital.
The İvigo range also includes Fan and Non-Fan Foot Warmers. In circumstances where space heating is not feasible, such as the checkout counters of stores, fan or non-fan foot warmers can be placed under employee desks to offer personal warmth and comfort in a safe and economic manner.
For bathrooms, digital or auto-off professional towel warmers can be used for both heating and drying. These moisture-resistant devices are ideal for short usage periods.
You can write an email "marketing@mastas.com" to get information.
Digital models consume approximately half of the indicated wattage per hour at average temperature settings. For example, a 2000W device consumes around 1kW per hour of use. (Note: İvigo digital and professional convection heaters operate on the basis of reaching and maintaining a set temperature. The device continuously monitors ambient temperature, pausing when the temperature target is reached and resuming operation when the temperature drops. Power consumption may vary based on the temperature setting as well as the heat loss and outside temperature.)
It is more appropriate to compare devices within their respective categories. With that being said, contrary to air conditioners, convection heaters do not blow air out to heat up the room, and are quiet during operation. They do not reduce ambient humidity and thus provide a healthy and comfortable environment, even when kept on during the night, and they do not cause dry eyes or dry throat. As they do not blow air, they do not circulate viruses inside the environment. As convection heaters can be used free-standing as an alternative to wall mount, they can be easily carried to other rooms as needed. They can be cleaned easily by vacuuming the top vents once a year. Digital models and the new professional models introduced in 2020 can be programmed for daily and weekly operation. These are but some of the advantages offered by convection heaters. Naturally, the choice of heating device should be based on your particular environment, usage scenarios and priorities. Convection heaters offer the most healthy, economical and comfortable method of heating for indoor spaces. They have lower costs than air conditioners, and can be easily uninstalled and transported when you are moving house. Convection heaters also start heating the room faster as they do not depend on an outdoor unit. On the other hand, air conditioners are dual-purpose, and can also be used for cooling during summer.
As a rule of thumb, we recommend choosing devices with an average power rating of 100W per square meter (m2). For example, a 1000W device will be sufficient for a 12 m2 bedroom. This value may be higher for environments where thermal insulation is lacking, or drop as low as 60 W/m2 in well-insulated new buildings (assuming that the insulation is up to code and is taken into account in architectural calculations). See the products section of our website for power rating options.
Usage environment and user habits and preferences play a role in the heater selection. Taking into account factors such as the size of the room, insulation performance and how frequently the doors are opened, refer to the chart below to select the optimum power rating for your convection heater.
Room Area (m2) | Recommended Heater Power (Watt) |
---|---|
3 - 6 | 500 |
6 - 12 | 750 |
8 - 16 | 1000 |
9 - 17 | 1500 |
12 - 24 | 2000 |
14 - 28 | 2500 |
The heat requirement depends on factors such as the exterior temperature, room heat isolation, door open/close cycles. The values stated on the above table are for average conditions with an outside temperature of 8-10 degrees therefore when calculating the heater power these factors should be taken into consideration.
1. Do not plug any other electrical devices into the same outlet as the heater.
2. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
3. Check the outlet and plug for signs of overheating during use. Excessive heat or any smell coming from the plug area may indicate a loose connection in the outlet. This presents an electric risks regardless of the device being used, and should be replaced as soon as possible.
4. The wires inside the heater are tinned to protect the copper from corrosion.
Ivigo Convection Heaters are not fanned and do not blow air. Cold air enters through the intake at the bottom of the device and passes through the heated fins of the resistance before leaving through the hot air vent at the top. This creates a natural convection of heat inside the environment. As a result, convection heaters do not dry out the air, which is one of their biggest advantages compared to air conditioners and fanned heaters. Convection heaters do not cause dryness in the eyes or throat, burn dust particles, or trigger allergies, which makes them safe to use even in babies’ rooms.
The key difference between manual and digital convection heaters is the latter’s ability to adjust room temperature automatically and with much more precision. Manual heaters offer five temperature settings, while digital heaters allow the user to select a specific temperature. The most important aspect of this is energy consumption. Digital heaters are able to monitor ambient temperature and reduce power consumption as it nears the set temperature, offering higher energy efficiency compared to manual devices. Digital heaters are also able to switch off and on automatically depending on changes to the room temperature, while manual heaters are only equipped with a thermostat to control device operation, with no continuous temperature monitoring to allow precise adjustments. As a result, they offer lower energy efficiency compared to digital models.
There is no limit to the maximum operating time of the foot warmers. Our employees have been using our foot warmers during working hours for the last three years, for more than eight hours. The foot warmer works continuously in the turbo mode or as long as you rest your feet on the device. Settings can be changed during operation using the remote or the control panel located on the device itself. The device enters suspend mode when you lift your feet and shuts down after a predetermined amount of time, and resumes operation when you rest your feet again on the device. By doing so, the heater both conserves power and eliminates the risk of accidentally leaving the device on.
Convection devices only provide heating.
A grounded outlet is a safety measure to protect the user from electric hazards. Outlets are devices that are used to connect electrical devices to the main power grid. While outlets come in various types, the most common type used in homes is the grounded version. Grounded outlets have three connections: live, neutral and ground. Ground connection is not connected to the grid but to a grounding electrode driven into the ground. Electrical appliances have their chassis connected to earth through this grounding connection, which provides a low-resistance path for any electrical leakage that would otherwise pass through the user’s body, thereby preventing electrical shock.
To deactivate the key lock (child safety lock), press and hold the lock key for 5-6 seconds until the word “UL” appears on the display screen.
The heater’s body does not reach temperatures high enough to cause any serious injury. Although direct and prolonged contact is inadvisable, the heater was designed to prevent and injury due to accidental contact.
Yes, but we recommend the fanned heater for glass balconies, which has the same features as the digital convection heater with the added benefit of a more prompt heating thanks to its fan, bringing the environment to the desired temperature faster. See the following link to learn more about the fan heater.
Convection heaters are quiet as they are not fanned. We also offer a fanned heater, which is recommended for glass balconies and environments where its operating noise level of 50 dB is tolerable
The word “PE” flashes on the display screen and the heater stops working. What could be the problem?
“PE” or “Plug Error” indicates an overheated plug. There could be a problem with the outlet itself, or the outlet could be in a confined space with limited air circulation. Check the outlet and ensure the problem is fixed before continuing to use the heater.
No, the fan in the fanned heater cannot be turned off.
Foot warmer comes in two models, fanned and non-fanned. Both are suitable for home use, but considering a general usage scenario where the user is seated and their feet are resting on the warmer, the turbo fan foot warmer would be recommended, as it features an angled top surface and offers rapid and comfortable heating with the fan. The foot warmer is considerably larger than the alternatives on the market and offers a greater heating capacity as a result. It is designed to be used with shoes or boots, and as such, we do not recommend using it barefoot or with socks. Both models are equipped with a touch-sensitive sensor for energy efficiency. The foot warmer activates when you place your feet on it, enters suspend mode when you lift your feet and shuts down after a predetermined amount of time, and resumes operation when you rest your feet again on the device.

Adequate thermal insulation of the room ensures a much faster and comfortable heating. In regions where outside temperatures are very low, we recommend choosing a heater with a power rating one level above the recommended.
The mounting location of the electric panel convection heater should be determined so as to prevent putting any strain to the power cable. After selecting the location, drill the mounting holes according to the guidelines below. To mark the locations of the holes, place the mounting brackets flat against the wall and use a pen to mark where the oval holes on the brackets correspond to on the wall, leaving enough space at the bottom to make sure that the mounted panel will stay at least 100 mm off the floor. Take into account the minimum distances given below for efficient operation of the heater.
Ivigo convection heaters and towel warmers have a three-year warranty. Other electrical appliances have a two-year warranty. Please call customer services for your service requests with regard to your product.
These may be caused by rapid heating and cooling. The sheet metal chassis or aluminum heating fins of the appliance can produce clicking noises as they expand and contract in a heating and cooling cycle. This is normal behavior, and is not a cause for concern.

Our tests have shown that our heaters can use up to 30% less electricity than continuous-operation heaters. This depends on selecting the right heater for the environment, adequate insulation and avoiding too high temperature settings.
Follow the checklist below:
a) Ensure that the appliance is mounted at a location with adequate air circulation.
b) Check the temperature setting and make sure it is not set at max.
c) Ensure that the heater is suitable for the room dimensions.
For electronic heaters, the device could be affected by a malfunction in the home’s electrical system. Contact a professional electrician for troubleshooting and if the issue persists, contact your power distribution company to find out about any problems with the grid power supplied to your home.
This is expected behavior and should not last longer than five minutes. Make sure to keep the room well-ventilated during first time use.
Avoid positioning the heater near openings such as doors and windows. It is recommended to use two 1000W heaters instead of one 2000W heater to ensure more balanced heating and to keep all sides of the room heated. If you are using the heater on its plastic stand, make sure the appliance is situated in a central, protected location to distribute the heat homogeneously.
No. You should not use the heater to dry laundry or other wet items. Doing so will void your warranty and could cause malfunctions in the appliance. Vacuum the bottom vents and front panel on a regular basis. You can wipe the heater’s chassis with a damp cloth, avoiding any abrasive detergents or strong chemicals. Make sure that the heater is turned off and cold before cleaning.
